Can copy elements from one site to the other, but not vice versa

  • Hi,

    I have two sites using the Elementor plugin. I would like to copy from one page to another.

    I can copy elements from one page on mydomain1.com to a page on mydomain2.com, using copy > paste.

    I cannot do it the other way around (both using ‘paste’ and ‘paste from other site’). Do you know why that is?

    Both are using version 3.18.3, and seem to have similar settings.

    Hi,

    In WP Forum a private message isn’t possible to do and also it is against the guidelines of WP Forum to share any personal info.

    You can share just the website URL so that we can have a look at the site.

    Just make sure that both the sites are using the same Elementor version and both the sites have the same Features enabled. Elementor > Settings > Features. I am guessing your features aren’t the same.

    Note: in order to copy and paste between sites, both sites must be using Elementor 3.11 (at minimum) and must have the same features enabled. For instance, you can’t copy a container into a site using sections, however you can copy a section into a site using containers.
