Thanks for the earlier direction on using the Custom Link function for dynamically created pages.

Since I have several thousand page possibilities to consider, is there a way to import a CSV with the link/keyword combinations?

    Hi @nerdjohn

    thanks for getting in touch.

Yes – it is possible (for Pro users) to dynamically create new custom links through the CSV import feature.

Just ensure you have a valid CSV format (like it is exported from Internal Link Juicer). There you can ignore the “ID” column and set the “Type” column entry to “custom”. All the other fields need their values as usual (“Url” is the custom link target).

Let me know if you need any further help on that.

I tried this, but there seems to be some sort of issue.

I exported the ILJ_KEYWORDS_PRO.CSV file– it is semi-colon delimited, not comma delimited.

So I tried importing a semi-colon delimited file of the same format; uploaded correctly, but did not import correctly. Got the following error:

Nothing to import or no data for import found.

So I repeated the process with a true CSV file of the same format. Got the same failed result.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @nerdjohn

can you please open the CSV file with a text editor and paste the first lines here?

I will check if you have the correct format. We’ve observed that some kind of Excel-Export settings generated some not importable output.
