Sorry I don’t think removing a plugin has anything to do with DBManager.

Actually it can sometimes help ??

Using the Empty/Drop Tables option, you can remove data that some plugins leave behind, even after deleting them.

But use with care, make sure the datatable that you empty is the RIGHT one. I trimmed one down by over 100mb of data that had accumulated.

I just did another today “wp_simple_login_log” . This had almost 200,000 entries, but I no longer use that plugin, so I selected that to empty the table..

@abcdiamond: that is true, but because you are tech savy you know which tables to delete/drop which is awesome!

Lester Is it safe to say that once a plugin is gone I can safely empty the table without any issues? What is diff between empty and drop?

    Thanks!

Yes u can. Empty is deleting the contents in a table BUT the table is still there. Drop means deleting the whole table AND including the contents

    Thanks Lester! Fast response!
