Can finish install…

  • SQL is set up, WP is installed using QuickInstall with Hostgator…I can’t seem to run the setup. What am I missing? I keep getting an IP address can’t be found error.

    I just took over a site that was previously built in Adobe Muse and the domain is pointed to Adobe Business Catalyst’s DNS. I need to re-build this site but could that why I am getting a 404 error when I try to run set-up?

  • If it is the domain listed in your profile, you need to update the nameservers (where the domain was purchased) to point to the ones provided by HostGator

    https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/arabiansalesonline.com

    It should then update the IP to point to the one provided by HostGator and you can most likely continue with the setup.

    Thank you Jarret, I purchased a second domain for my site and was able to get it to work. I also went through Bluehost just because the install was super easy and I was up and running in just a few minutes.
