• Hi, just wondering why the posts on the front page are full in length. So why we need individual post page, read again :-)? I want the posts on front page shorter no pict like abstracts. How to do that? I do like 2016 because it responses to mobile devices. Thanks for help!

  • Have you tried using the <!--more--> tag to create shorter post teasers? Try reviewing customising the read more.

hehe, thank you. Sorry I didn’t figure it out on my own :-). By the way, I have some other questions here. Could you please give me some ideas? Many thanks.

    1. How to keep the size of the inserted image?
    2. How to adjust widths of right widget and left widget on all posts and pages?
    3. I might have done something wrong, because I can’t find social sharing links (ie facebook, twitter). How can I recover them?

    1. when inserting the image via the Media Library, you are asked which size you want to use. Just make sure you pick the right size.

    2. That would not be possible without first creating a child theme for your changes or installing a custom CSS plugin.

    3. You will probably have to install a social links plugin if you want to add these links to your site.

Thank you. 2 more questions :-).
    4. Can I modify the thene? I want to remove the header image.
    5. Which file is associated with the left widget of individual pages?

    4. You should be able to remove the header image without modifying the theme via Appearance -> Header

    5. Do not edit any of the theme’s files.

Thank you for your reply. Very useful!
I want to use the extra space under the left widget on pages. If I am not allowed to change file how can I do it :-)?

As I mentioned above, you would first need to create a child theme.

    Got it. Thank you :-).

I’m still having this problem, and do not want to use the more tag.
