Can Groups restrict some WooCommerce products and hide others?

  • I’m attempting to set up a group so that members of the group can only see a subset of otherwise hidden products, not everything else, whereas standard registered users can see everything else, but not those products. Can Groups do this? How would I set it up?

  • Hi Evan,

    You can setup a group and restrict the subset of products by adding the group capability on each product. That group would only be for the users you want to grant access to it.
    Then, you should restrict the rest of the products on a second group where the rest of your users will be members.

    If your products list is big enough, then you should also have a look at the premium plugin Groups Restrict Categories, which can help you restrict categories to specific groups.
