Can I add a block or a Widget to the Go Theme?

I’m using the Go Theme for a client through GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress. The clients wants to add a new column with a ‘Subscribe’ form. Basically, it should go in the slot where one of the footer menus might go.

I can see how to modify the variations in the core theme, but how do I replace one of the menus with a ‘slot’ for future users to replace with a Block or a Widget of their own choosing?
