can I add a permanent photo to the top of twenty ten or must I change them

  • I’m using the twenty ten theme, but I’m having a book published on amazon kindle, and I’d like to add the cover photo to my website, and make it click thru to the amazon kindle store where people can buy the book.
    Can I add the book photo somehow to the top of twenty ten? Or do I have to change themes? And if I have to change themes, which theme is most similar to 20-10 and would let me do this? I don’t know which version of wordpress I’m using or how to tell that from my site.

  • Answer from a newbie – You can substitute the header image of the 2010 theme with the cover of your book through your WP dashboard.
    To make the new header image link to the Amazon store you will have to create an HTML link, e.g. (Visit W3Schools) and ‘attach’ it to the header image.
    I don’t know how to do this directly in wordpress but I know you can use a Web editing tool like Dreamweaver to do it and then ‘put’ it on your site.
    Hopefully, one of the experts will let us know if this can be done directly in WordPress.
