    Hi,

It should work. Are you using the same template as the test page?

    Hi Jeff,

I think I don’t understand your question. How can a sidebar have the same template as a page?

On my testimonials page I use the same template as on the testimonials-test where the picture’s on. But like I said: I don’t understand how this is related.

    Oh, duh. Sorry ??
I think they’re the same, I’ll have to check. I’ll do that in a moment.

That was the trick – I edite the correct template (nr. 7) into the same one as the widget. Now I just have to wait till that particular testimonial comes by. Or can I force that somehow?

I waited to see this testimonial, but the picture doesn’t show.

I also saw in the settings page that I can force the image size. I changed it from 100×100 px to 75×75 but nothing changed. The image I addes is 150×150 (I’m not sure about that).

So is this field actually still being used?

I don’t see the image being added to the testimonial output. Can you verify the template that you are using in the widget does have images turned on.

What exactly do you mean by output? I don’t see the images show up in the rotating widget so if that’s what you mean by output, then I totally agree. I’ll check the template in the widget and the image settings.

Yep that’s what I mean. When I view the source nothing is there. Also, please make sure the testimonials you are showing do have images associated with them.

I just checked the template and in the active field items I see: testimonials, source, image, testimonial date, url and 5 star system. I did attach at least 1 image to a testimonial, but it doesn’t show. I’ll look at the others too (I thought I added those too, but that might be at the other website that I want to import from).

There should be at least 5 images on the testimonials on https://www.ganzenveer2punt0.nl.

So… I guess this is a bug. Also: in the widget I couldn’t see any image setting. I thought you mentioned that above, but maybe I understood it wrong.

I think I may have figured it out. Are your images inside the the actual testimonial box or are you clicking the “Upload/Attach an image” link to attach them?

On this page on the left they are apart of the testimonial and not actually attached to the testimonial. Does that make sense?

The sidebar will strip out all HTML especially with a read more link being show. This is so it doesn’t leave an open HTML tag and mess up your layout.

    (@hvh)

    Hi Jeff,

That may be correct. I added the pictures to the testimonials using the ‘add media’ button just above the box where I entered the text. I couldn’t find another place. Did I overlook something?

    (@hvh)

And what about the HTML? Is that part about the images? So if I understand you correctly, the sidebar thinks adding images this way is the same as using HTML?
