can I add password or captcha code for a block?

    can I add password or captcha code for a block like restrict visibility by specific users ? The user enter the right code to view the contents no need to login

    Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately password/captcha restriction is not currently available. I have had other requests for this as well and it’s a future possibility.

    Currently, Block Visibility does not provide any markup on the frontend of a users website. It just conditionally shows or hides the blocks. Password protection would require an entry form of some sort where users could enter the password to unlock the block. Such functionality would likely best be placed in a block itself. I am thinking of a “visibility wrapper” block that would work similarly to a Group block. This “visibility wrapper” block could then easily handle the frontend markup for password restriction and any additional features that might require additional markup.

    While this is not on the immediate raodmap, it is something that is technically possible and I will be investigating over the next few months. If development begins on this feature, I will followup and let you know!
