Can I add recipes to the recipe index page without creating a blog for each one?

  • Can I add recipes to my recipe index page without making a blog post for each recipe? If I want to add 10 recipes to the recipe index page, and theyre already created as a recipe index card, can I just add it to the page without having it’s own blog post? And if so how do I go about doing that? Sorry for the newbie question. I know blog posts with recipes automatically get added to the index recipe page but I don’t want to have to write a post for each recipe if possible.

    By default, the recipe index from the theme supports only blog posts.

    You should check the settings of recipe card plugin settings you use if it allows creating a recipe index within the plugin. Then, in this case, you won’t have to create a blog post for the recipe to be displayed in the recipe index.

    Also, you can try to create a recipe index of custom posts (recipes from your recipe card plugin) with a specialized plugin like EasyIndex:
