Can I apply it to widgets only?

  • Your plugin sounds very interesting, but I’m afraid the complexity of our site would inevitably cause some kind of incompatibility issue.

    All I’m really after though, is AJAX-loading of widgets. I want to load widgets by buttonclick instead of upon page load.

    With that, I’d be able to offer users a whole range of useful widgets without bogging down my site, since each widget would only be loaded when actually (clicked to be-) used.

    Can I do something like that with this plugin?

    Not sure I have to check on your site whether it is possible to make compatible as per your requirement ??

    Well the key thing would be to not have it load any 2nd tier (hidden) widgets until they are in fact in view.

    So in the case of tabbed widgets for instance, anything except sidebar #1 would not be loaded upon the initial page load.
