Can I change a role name?

    Is it possible to edit the name of a role created through the Members plugin? On the Edit Role screen, the Role Name is greyed out and I’m unable to type in that box. Just checking if it’s not possible to change the name, or if I perhaps just don’t have the correct capabilities to change it.

    Hi @donnahaynes

    I’m afraid that you cannot change the role. The only way to change the role name would be to clone the role in the Members → Roles panel and add role name before saving. After that, you can remove the original role.

    Thanks so much for your response – this is good to know. I was spending ages trying to set myself the right permission to be able to change the role name! ??
