Can I change the Plug In settings to show photos at specific size

  • Hi there

    I am trying to speed up the response time of my website and one of the issues it is facing is due to the instagram feed, its taking longer to load because the CSS is scaling the images in the feed from 150×150 to 47×47, is there any way to serve these images as 47×47 so the response time wil speed up. Fairly new to the tech side of things, so if you could respond with a simple answer, that would be great lol ?? thanks

    Hey Sally,

    Unfortunately no, we can’t offer images any smaller.

    Instagram will only send images in three sizes, 150px by 150px, 306px by 306px, and 640px by 640px.

    The good news is the feed is loaded after the rest of the page has already appeared and images come from instagram’s CDN (which adds speed). So the speed of the instagram feed should only affect itself really.
