Can I create a new child theme now when this plugin is not tested to WP 4.9 yet?

    So can I? Will that create problems even if not now but later down the road? Thank you.

    CTC works fine with 4.9. I have updated the readme.

    We are working on integrating it with the new customizer css editor and the new code editors, but that is a ways off.
