• I’m helping admin a blog, currently we have the ‘default’ setting for permalinks so a given article looks like:

    https://freesyncracy.com/?p=1426

by turning on permalinks a given link may look like this:

    https://freesyncracy.com/2009/06/blah-blah.html

We are putting up a second, member’s only, blog that is rooted at /plus, i.e.:

    https://freesyncracy.com/plus

    Now the rub:

Turning on permalinks to other than the default causes 404 errors on the /plus blog. I understand why (a least I can hazard a guess).

    My Question:

is there someway we can let the permalink mechanism exempt the path
    /plus from its resolution scheme?

This is being driven by a desire to increase SE ranking

Any pointers to documentation will be voraciously read.

    Thanks in advance
