Can I create and view a child theme that's not the active theme?

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m want to build a child theme from a theme different from the current active theme.

    1: can I preview the child theme without making it active?
    2: can I use this method to give a different look independent from the current theme when my user navigates to a page in my child theme?
