Hi, I currently have a website that allows people to create an account and listing on the website. In doing so, I am attempting to build a database of individuals/companies. The website then allows a visitor to the website to search these ‘listings’ to be via region etc.

However, I want to create a separate page where any of these users (already with listings), can post a job ‘advert’ listing (paying me a fee to do so). I have found a few different websites and tried their instructions. Though, I have run into issues as none of these guides account for a website that already has a listing feature with WP Jobs manager.

I presume that I need to effectively duplicate the ‘jobs page’ created by WP Jobs Manager for adding users and their listings to the website, but with a specialisation in job adverts. If so, how would I go about this?

I don’t want to flag any of the original listings as ‘job adverts’ as this is not what they are. They form a library of companies/individuals each with their own listing where they can be reviewed. I want to create a separate place in which people can place an ‘advert’ for a job for a fee.

    Many Thanks

  • Could you use the Resume Manager add-on for the library of companies and individuals to free up the WP Job Manager plug-in to be used for job adverts?

The Resume Manager idea is a possible one. Another one I thought of is to give the job adverts their own category, and then use the `[jobs categories=”advert”] shortcode to display just those, on a different page. Do you think that might work?
