Can I delete a post containing a synced pattern safely?

    I have an extensive WP site with several synced patterns (reusable blocks). I need to delete some posts containing these synced patterns — If I delete them, will that delete the related synced patterns in other posts that I wish to keep live? Do I have to manually de-link the synced pattern in each post before deleting?

    if you are concerned about making any changes site, please make a completed backup of your site (database + files) before making any changes.

    • I created a synced pattern in a post – updated post – deleted post.
    • I created a new post – added the synced pattern and published post. synced pattern as displayed as expected.
