can I delete an active theme

  • I’v got a website that’s crashing before I can login to the admin area. It has been suggested that deleting some of the plugins may resolve the issue . The problem is that I can’t log into the admin section.

    So I’m wondering can I just ftp into the site and delete the theme from the themes folder? Will the site just default to one of the default themes i.e. 2017 or something?
