Can I delete old site that I didn’t create

    I am a member of a local bowling club and we have just created a new website for the club. Unfortunately there is another website for our bowling club created in 2017 which still appears in the first page of google search results. We do not know who created this site but would prefer that this site is removed so that people are not confused when trying to find our site. Is it possible for WordPress to remove this site. It has virtually no information on it and has not been updated as far as we can see since 2017.
