Can I delete the multiples of sql_dump files?

  • Hi,

    in my wp-content folder there are a bunch of sql_dump files, all produced on the same day and just a few minutes after one another when I was attempting to back up my site. now there are 9 of them, all 7.5MB each and I’m just not too sure what to do with them… I have looked at them in text, and they all appear to be the same, listing a large portion of the websites content in text… Does anyone know if i can delete these or not?

  • Yes you can safely delete them. Actually it is always safer to delete them. You should not have such type of backup files available on your website.
