Can I disable share & Download button in Video player?

You can surely disable the sharing button by following the instructions on this page:

https://jetpack.com/support/video-hosting/#video-sharing-settings

Please note that this will make the option to download the video only a bit hard to do, as people can still download videos from the browser.

To add more complexity to avoid unwanted downloads, you could also set the pages/posts hosting your videos as private, like setting a password for access:

Hey like you told me now that people can download from browser. So now I come to know about this. There are many fools like me who’s brain will not work in advance.

I mean to say that or request to Jetpack company to put option to disable download option because see if that download option will be visible then you are just directly allowing people to download videos.

They can upload my paid videos to anywhere like in YouTube or anywhere else. I am just straight saying that please kindly bring one option to disable download button. Humble request to jetpack company.

Please Jetpack team kindly work on these. There are many instructors like me who take Jetpack just for a reason to host paid courses. If you will bring option to disable download button then you will make more than 80% of your customers happy too

I used the class defined by “Elementor Website Builder for WordPress editing” plugin (previously installed) in the html. For example, I changed the html code of the original video block to:

<p><video class=”elementor-video” src=”https://site.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/file.mp4&#8243; controls=”” controlslist=”nodownload”></video></p>
