    Hello,

Thanks for your very nice plugin, I’m using it in a musician website and I’m experiencing some difficulties to properly display a list with past events.

I’m using a list mode view, and I configured the calendar to show events from the last 10 years, but I don’t know if this can be done in this mode of view. At least, by the moment, I’m not succeding doing this.

What I have done is that I entered in the google calendar a concert held on 6 march 2013. Then, I entered a tour from 19 november 2015 until may 24, 2016. When I’m in the list view, arrows are not displaying to go back to the past. But when I’m in the grid view, the arrows are there when I want to go until 2013’s concert…

The ideal result would be a list displaying events from different years, exactly as happened in the agenda’s mode of view in the google calendar itself. It is possible to do this with the google calendar events plugin?

It should be possible to do that.

So to make sure I understand:

    – Make a calendar with events in the past
    – List view doesn’t work to page backwards, but grid does

Do you have a link to your site so I can see it in action?

    Hello Nick,

Yes, exactly. I’m afraid that this could be caused by the big distance between the past concert and the new ones (two years…).

Thanks for your answer. Here is the page…

It very well could be by the gaps in the events. We are going to have some updates to how the paging functions in the next release. I am hoping that will help with your issue here as well.

Are you still having this issue in 3.0.11?

Assuming this is resolved since there has not been a reply here. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Thanks!

    Hello Nick,

Sorry for the delay in answering you. The issue is not entirely resolved. The arrows are already visible, but I’m unable to navigate with them to see what happened in the past. The aim is to include an event held on 6 march 2013 that is registered on the google calendar, but the most ancient event that I can see is held on 19 november 2015. I think that playing around with configuration settings could be enough to resolve this issue… What do you think?

Try changing your earliest event date to go back further than the 1 month (default). I think that should do the trick for you.

It doesn’t works with the follow setting:
    Calendar Start : This Month
Earliest Event: 3 Years Before Start Date
Latest Event: A Year After Date

There is also a max events limit of 2500 so you will need to make sure you aren’t hitting that in the 4 year span.

    Hello Nick,

Thanks for your answer. By the moment, the list of concerts contains only 9 events. I took a picture from my google calendar to show you what the ideal should be : you can see it here.

What is the calendar ID you are using? I would like to try testing it on my side also.
