Can I display current author info for author archive pages?

    I am using MemberPress to manage author registration on my site. I was able to pull in MemberPress info on the main author’s list, and want to display this same information for each author’s archive page. Is there a way to display current author information in this shortcode on the author archive page?

    Hi @dgracey

    No, sorry. Our plugin does not affect the author archives, that’s coming from the theme.

    But from what I see you are using Divi, and it should have the option to insert custom content on the author archives page. For more info it’s best to ask their support, I haven’t used the Divi theme so I don’t know much about it.

    Thank you. Unfortunately, Divi doesn’t recognize the member press fields so I was hoping that your plugin could do the job since your’s can recognize them. Thanks!

    The shortcode that comes with Member Press doesn’t work? The [mepr-account-info field="field_name"]

    Unfortunately, those shortcodes only work for logged-in users (confirmed by MemberPress support). We had to create a custom solution to show account info to all users.
