I am trying to create a group of real estate websites that will share the same listing information. There will be a total of 5 distinct sites each with a different theme (one for condos, one for luxury…etc). I have thought of either putting it on 5 separate domains, or on 1 domain with 4 subdomains, but I am unsure which way would be best to do with this scenario. There would be one backend for realtors (who are members of the site) to log in and post listings for all sites. I am trying to find out the best way to set this up and if it is possible to do with WordPress. The content that would be shared on the database is property information and realtor profile information.

In general, multiple sites with the same content is something to be avoided. The primary exception to this is stores (which real estate would count as FWIW, you’re selling homes).

Are you saying it should be avoided due to the Google search aspect of it? So that it isn’t ranked lower seeing 2 pages with the same information? I think it will be ok in that regard since, as you said, it is like a store.
