Can I edit the language .PO file directly?

    I am accessing the .PO file from the following directory:
    /public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/languages

    If I edit the .PO file directly, will the change reflect on the site?
    I have made some translation changes, but the change is not showing (yet?)

    It is not a good idea to edit the PO file directly, as it will get overwritten on each update, so if you want to help with an existing translation, you can follow this article.
