Sorry if this has been answered a thousand times, Googling I could only find a number of Dreamweaver step-by-step guides.

I want to make simple non-animated GIF files in Photoshop 12, and then export them in html format so I can easily add them to the ad-widgets pluggin via my WordPress sites. The problem is that although it is very easy to use the “save for web and devices” option, I’m unclear on whether there is a built in option to do this. The three export options are: image only, html, and image + html. When I choose the html option, the resulting text just looks like gibberish when I go to open it in a text editor.

Is there a way to do this within Photoshop, or do I have to learn the process within Dreamweaver to pull it off? Thanks.
