  • If it’s a WordPress.COM blog, ask on their forums. If not, you’ll have to contact their hosts directly.

If that was so easy, then I would suspect that 75% of the
internet would already be shutdown. Just think about paypalsucks.com – the bad they say about paypal…Are their comments true or slanderous?
We can go back and forth on here-say all day long…

It almost takes an act of congress just to shut down a pirate
site, how easy do you think it will be to shut down a site
where “you say” slander is involved…?

follow the post above, because if you are not friendly to that
person’s host; they do not have to shut him down, and if so,
he could just move his host out of the area where it would
certainly be impossible to shut down….

If you want any certain action, the money talks…
    everything else walks….

PS. I can give your business bad reviews all day long, and
not get shut down, its called freedom of speech…
then again, you did not define “slanderous”

Freedom of speech doesn’t apply like that exactly (I hate when people bandy that term around) — Remember, not everyone is an American Citizen, so freedom of speech, as the US folks think of it, doesn’t apply outside the country. However yes, you can say what you want, on your own site, so long as you don’t violate the agreements you signed with your hosting company. If THEY say ‘don’t attack people’ then you can have your site shut down. If they don’t, there’s nothing to be done except sue them. Which is rarely worth it.
