• In your demo site, there appears to be a CSV import, but when I try installing the plugin (lite version) on my own website no such option appears. Is this a paid-only feature?

I also note that the version numbers are wildly different between the demo site and the lite plugin that I can install on my own WordPress. Is the lite / pro versioned differently?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, EventON Lite doesn’t have such functionality. Yes, Lite and Pro versioned differently.

Functionalities that available in Lite can be found by going to?EventON Lite Demo.

Ok, thank you for the clarification. I’m happy to buy the pro if that’s how I can do imports.

There is one other feature I need in an events system: The ability to keep track of who actually attended. Specifically: I’d like to be able to “take attendance” like you would at a class or seminar – essentially have a list of all my WordPress users and be able to check off who came to an event.

From the marketing materials I see there is something about attendance mode (live, virtual, etc) but I can’t find anything about actually marking who was at an event. Is that available in the pro version?

As artem have clarified. Our CSV Importer addon is capable of importing events specific to eventON data structure. https://www.myeventon.com/addons/csv-event-importer/

As for taking attendance of who came to the event without charging for reserving space at an event, what you need is the RSVP addon. https://www.myeventon.com/addons/rsvp-events/

You can use QR Code addon as well to checkin attendance. RSVP addon it self can also do this from admin-side of things. We are doing a big update to QR addon where it will have a full dashboard on frontend for checking in attendance along with its QR checkin. ??

Thank you for the clarification. I had to wait for budget to be approved before moving forward on a new events system for our website, but that has been completed now and I’m ready to buy a new system. However, before I sign up with EventON – I need one more clarification:

This will be used for a music chorus that meets weekly for rehearsals. We don’t want to make our chorus members RSVP every week. We generally have between 30-40 people each week, many of whom would struggle to remember to rsvp or are technically challenged and would need help with the process all the time. We just need to check in or take attendance for everyone who shows up each week. Can this all be done through the backend of the site by an admin? Can an admin just “check in” someone who did not previously RSVP?

All our chorus members are set up as WordPress users, with the “chorus member” user role assigned.

    Thanks!

Not possible with the current functionality of RSVP add-on, I am afraid. However, if your admins can filled in the minimal info about each customer: https://dev2.myeventon.com/events/rsvp-65/

Then they simply need to open an event in Incognito Mode and then RSVP each person manully.

Ok. Are the “customers” who rsvp different than WordPress Users? Or would an admin have to fill in everyone’s name each week?

Our Admins can certainly do an incognito RSVP or whatever, but not if it means they have to type everyones info each week. It would be *far* more desirable for us to be able to just choose from a list of current WordPress users (preferably filtered by user role) to rsvp / check them into the rehearsal event each week. If this could be implemented, we’d gladly pay the licensing to use it.

They must filled their info for each RSVP. There is no way of selecting a customer from a list and then RSVP them.
