Can I insert a link and an image in the same field?

    TablePress Version 1.8

    I created a table with 2 lines and 2 columns. In A1 I incerted an small image (thumb). In field B1 I put text into it (description of the image) as well as a link to another page. What I want is to klick on the thumb in A1 and the image will be seen in full resolution. Is this possible?

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, this is possible. Basically, the HTML code for the image has to be used as the link text for the link. The easiest way to insert that would be to use the “Insert Image” button below the table input fields. When you then select the link target in the media library, it should create link automatically.

    Tobi,

    the workflow you describe only works with one image. The klick on this image link will show exact the identical image. I want to use 2 images with different resolutions. One small one and one large one. If I do insert only the high resolution image into the table it will blow up my table and destroy my page layout.     Hi Wolfgang,

    you should indeed insert e.g. the thumbnail size or the medium size, but the link target should be the image URL.
    Can you choose these values when the media library is open?

    I did it!. It was not a TablePress problem rather a WP feature which I did’nt handle in a correct manner! Thanks anyhow!
