can i install on single database

  • hi to all my question is i have installed wordpress blog on main domain https://www.xyz.com and v bulletin forum on https://www.xyz.com/forums

    can i create both on single database or separate new database required for forums plz clarify

    if i install both in single database any problems occur plz reply experts waiting for quick answer guys thanks for support

  • v bulletin is a completely separate system from WordPress, so it would be best to run them as separate databases.

    You can install them on the same database if you wish. The only thing that you need to do is make sure that the database prefix in your wp-config.php file is unique and you won’t have any problems. The only issue will come about if the database crashes and you’ll “loose” both sites.
