Hi. I love the functionality of Spiffy Calendar but having to close and then restart an event if I have a special event on is driving me crazy.
It would be nice to be able to indicate that there is a break in the repeating.
Currently I work out how many weeks to the special event, stop the repeating event and create a new one starting after the special event. For example we have Saturday pairs every week, but in October there are special events which take over our clubhouse and we can’t run the pairs. In this case I only found out after the last regular Saturday pairs so I simply edited it to start again after the break. This is a problem in itself because now there is no history of the Saturday pairs.
Is there a work-round? Am I missing something?
Thanks for the calendar. I really do love the presentation etc.
    Regards,
    Audrey

You can use the Hide event feature to turn off events in a specific category on a date. Just create an event for the day you want to skip and set it to “Hide Events” in the appropriate category.

Excellent. Thanks. That could be made clearer in the documentation, but I love all aspects of the calendar now.
