can I just scrap it all and save my entries?

  • In typical fashion, I’ve totally screwed up my upgrade beyond repair. I was upgrading from 1.2.1 to 1.5 and thence to 2, but, alas, no success, and I’m beyond confused.

    Anyway, is there some way I can just get rid of everything and do a clean install of version 2, without losing my entries?

  • What database backups do you have ?

    I don’t *think* so, because the database setup, number of tables, structure etc. have changed.

    But if you still have your 1.2 database backup safe, I’d suggest going back to 1.2 long enough to do a solid upgrade to 1.5.2. Then wait a bit to make sure everything’s really straight before trying 2.0 again.
