Can I make the smaller Chained Products not show up in the shop?

I have a primary product with support products which are smaller and less expensive. I want to make a bundle, or Chain them together, then I want those smaller products to not show up in the SHOP. I tried to make those smaller less important products not show up by making them private, but that kept them from listing at all.

Is there anyway to create a product, Chain attach it to a primary product and then have it not show up within the primary SHOP page?
