Can I make TAO Schedule Update work with Theater plugin?

Hi. I’m using a plugin called Theater to create listings on a website for a cinema. Theatre lets you create ‘performances’ and ‘events’ – a performance is a title (for example, a play or a movie) and an event is a single showing. You can configure it so it outputs all events (or showings) of one movie or play in a single list.

Even though the performances behave just like posts, I don’t see the tao ‘scheduled update’ option listed against them. I guess a ‘performance’ is a custom blog post. I have the option to schedule updates to regular blog posts and pages, but not Theater performances.

Can you suggest anything I should look at that might give me option of scheduling updates on my Theater posts?
