Can I move Comment indicators so they show on the Home page?
-
Hello!
I have just migrated a blog for my friend from wordpress.com to his own domain. I am using the Newzeo theme and the theme creator’s site is no longer active so I have no way of reaching him.
The way the theme is set up, as on this sample page, Comment indicators appear in the left column on the “Archive” pages: https://ronkane.com/2013/03/
But on the Home page, Comments do not seem to be encouraged or counted in any way. The posts appear full length and there doesn’t seem to be a way to add Comments, unless a person knows that they need to click on the Title of the post to get to its separate page. There are no Comment links anywhere.
Also, some people who have tested this theme tell me that “Continue reading…” appears underneath truncated posts by default. But that’s just not happening for me in this blog that I have imported.
I don’t mind that the posts appear in their full length, but I DO want to have some kind of Commenting links on the Home page. Here is how the Home page currently looks: https://ronkane.com/
Can I somehow copy some code from the template that creates the Archive pages and replace some code on the Home page template?
Thank you!
