• This might be a simple question, but I have been driving myself nuts trying to figure it out.

    I have a site that has a blog with news postings and 5 other pages for various content. I would like to move the blog to the 2nd tab (called “News”) and have a static page as the first tab (which I will call “Home”).

    Is this possible?

    To be more specific, I am looking at continuing to have the blog, continuing to have the pages that support it, but I just want to move the blog to the 2nd tab on my particular layout.

    Is this possible?

    Not seeing it… it’s quite difficult to advise.
    Do yoyu have a Page titled “News”? – if yes, select it as your “posts page” in admin > Options > Reading;
    and select your Page titled “Home” as your front/home page in the same admin panel.

    Re: ordering Pages – see the wp_list_pages tag’s parameters, esp. sort_column > menu-order.

    Okay, so that was quite useful… thanks!
