    This website presently has the old Atahualpa Theme, which no longer works well with WordPress. With Atahualpa, you could turn off the side bars on the home page and on any numbered page i.e. 628

    I did this so that WP Google Maps would fill the whole page. Am I able to do some version of this with Alurra?

    Or failing that, can I make the sidebars very, very narrow on certain pages?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Do you have a lot of pages with the sidebar that you want to hide? This theme uses actual page templates, a left sidebar layout, right sidebar layout, and a full width (no left or right sidebar) option. These would be selected by opening a page in the editor and choosing the template for it. This can also be done as a global edit if you have several pages to change at the same time.

    OK, thanks. I see now that I can choose Full Page, but it is not really full page, is it? It is basically centered in the page. I wish I could upload a screenshot for you.

    There are only 2 pages I need to be full page…Home and one other.

    Needing only two pages is good (less work). But the full-width template is just the main content that is full width–without a left or right sidebar.

    Was this what you were wanting?

    By the way, I’m in BC, so it was nice to see a site about it!

    I was hoping it would fill the full page, but Alurra is not Atahualpa, so I just have to get used to it. I was also hoping to remove the page names at the top of the page, but if I remove them, it just says Untitled. Any way to remove that? It leaves such a huge gap between the menu and the maps. Maybe you want me to start another thread about that issue?

    The support forums here at WordPress usually prefer anything new to be posted as a new topic. However, while I’m here, there is setting to remove page or post titles, but if you just want “page” titles hidden, is there a particular page title other than the home page gone?

    If just the home page, add this to the Additional CSS tab in the Customizer:

    .home .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }

    Regarding the full page to “fill”, can you describe what would be seen or hidden from view in this kind of template option?

    I want all of them gone. So I will start a new topic. You rock. ??
