Can I remove the upgrade folder?

  • After upgrading wordpress I seem to have a copy of wordpress in /wp-content/upgrade/wordpress-4.3/wordpress. Can I delete everything under /upgrade?

    The site is fine now.

  • I would first – using FTP – move it to another location and then make sure the ite still functions. Only then would I delete it.

    Yes, you can remove that folder. But you still need that folder for future update.
