Can I replace/update all the phpbb tables after installing this?

Does this plugin store anything in the phpbb tables in the database?
I have a pile of phpbb users, and needed to get them all merged to WordPress on our test server so they could be mapped, log in and start creating WP content without having to manually give them all usernames and passwords.
My phpbb forum has continued running on our old hosting while this has been going on though, so now they are out of sync. Ideally I’d like to pull across a copy of all the phpbb tables, and have it replace the previous copy of the phpbb content, plus any new users, update password changes etc.
Anyone know if this is likely to break the WP-United/wordpress users or their content in any way?
