can I run this plugin from mu-plugins?

Well, first the caveat: I’ve not tried it.

However, since there’s only one important file and there are no dependencies, I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t.

I had a look into the plugin file but couldn’t see any hardcoded path or some such so I guess its alright. will comment here if things go wrong ??

must-use plugins don’t show up inside my “normal” update notifications…

There is a Subscribe section on https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-fail2ban/developers/ where the feed includes all commits, not just new tags or version releases. But it’s not so bad ??
