Can i send a downloadble product to a specific recipient?

Hello,

I have some questions

1) I want to ask if the plugin supports variable and also digital products (downloadable).
2) Also if I can send the downloadable product to another recipient except for myself.
For example, if I have an e-book in my store and the user that will buy it wants to gift it right away, can he do it (with all the customizations included)?
