• I’d like to have my domain name point to the index.html file in my directory and then add a link to my index.php in that same directory.
Is that possible ? Now my domain ignores the index.html and the index.php takes precedence.

  • Two index files = trouble unless you were to use a lot of additional and complex code which I’ve not seen here.

What effect are you trying for ?

I don’t think that is possible – you can put index.html above index.php in precedence, but then I think many dynamic WordPress links will break.

I chose a different solution – I put my BLOG in a sub-directory, and it works great.

In any case, from a search engine point of view, you’d want your domain (and any links to the homepage) always to point to w*w.domain.com/ – never with a filename.

O.K. So, I can just move the wordpress files into a subdirectory and go?
