Can I set the shipping to alter based on quantity?

  • I think you will need a plugin to do this. Check out “Table Rate Shipping”. It comes in various versions, free, $21 and $199. I’ll have to leave it to you to read up on the differences.

    Check out Bundle Rate Shipping at Code Canyon. I have this plugin installed and it has lots of flexibility, it will do what you want.
