• I have one blog with several categories (my personal blog) and I want to set up another that will contain posts from just one of the categories from the first blog (for a niche community) I still want the content from said category to show up in both blogs. Is this possible without having to duplicate data (either in two databases or in one database with different table prefixes)?

  • I’ve been wanting to do the same thing! I have one main blog and want to have another with a different url that will only show one of the categories. The only thing I cant figure out is that the database stores the Weblog title, Tagline, WordPress address (URL), and Blog address (URL) which will need to be different for my second blog. Vasoos have you found an answer yet?

vasoos if you haven’t found your answer yet (though I hope so since it’s been a year) I found my solution at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/75438?replies=19

I found my answer in the post from mylagoon.

By the way my two sites that share one database are:
My Soapbox site and My Journal
