can i sort the taxonomies themselves?

  • currently, the order of taxonomies is based on the order you add them (media settings->taxonomies->add new taxonomy->save changes), i would like to change the order instead of deleting and re-adding

    i am willing to modify the plugin code, maybe to generate a new db column, but i might need some tips

    i may also want to sort the terms, which is what your option does, but only allows alphabetical or by added, not arbitrary… there may be other plugins out there for this, i know there are some that sort posts…

    but the primary need is to sort the taxonomies themselves so that you have a specific order in the admin menu & on the edit image screen
