Can i stop header from loading on single.php

I’d really like there to be no header on single product pages. Im using wp e-commerce and i assume the header is still controlled by single.php, or page.php. is there a way to stop the header from loading on all single post pages. if e-commerce is using page post then i think i will be lost, so im hoping there is some quick, easy solution like

get_header(display:none); ?>

or an empty file? (not sure what that code would look like)
