We have a video (Daily Word) that is updated each day and would like to be able to sync it from Our YouTube channel to our WordPress page.

Is this possible? If so, can you please point me to the resource that could help me accomplish this? Thank you.

    Best Regards,

    Hi @juleskeeper,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. With the Free version of the plugin, you can display your YouTube channel; however, if you would like to display a specific playlist like the “daily word” you will need to use the PRO version of the plugin.

To display your channel, you need to connect your account using the “Connect to YouTube to Create a Feed” button inside the plugin settings, or you can configure an API key following this guide.

Once you have connected your account, you can display your channel using the shortcode below.

    [youtube-feed type=”channel” channel=”UC0bOl7c6WTfapgGO5nyY54w”]

Let me know if you need additional guidance or have any other questions, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you further.

    Best regards,

@mescobar thank you for your response.

I’m adding videos to my YouTube channel daily. I have two separate Playlists: Daily Word and Courses. On two separate web pages I’m manually embedding the newest video URL from the “Daily Word” playlist. As you can imagine, I would like to automate this work process if possible and was hoping your plugin could help me achieve this.

I would like to always show the latest video from a playlist. So, only show one video on the page, but always the most recent of the Daily Word playlist. When we upload a new Daily Word video on YouTube, that latest video has to be shown on these two web pages.

Is this possible with PRO version of the plug-in or is coding my only approach?

Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

    Best Regards,

I’ve scanned through the details for the FREE & PRO versions of the Feeds for YouTube (YouTube video, channel, and gallery plugin), and it doesn’t appear that this plug-in can get the latest video only from a given YouTube Playlist.

I could have missed it somewhere in the details, so please confirm my assumptions or let me know how this plug-in can meet my needs – PLEASE.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards,
    Julio

    Thank you @mescobar

I’ve reviewed the link you shared for the PRO version features. I see that it can “Display videos from a specific playlist (playlist)“, however, I do not see where the PRO version can display the “latest video” ONLY from a playlist. If I’m missing it, please point me to that exact feature.

I cannot use the form on your website to ask question about the PRO version. That particular form requires a License Code before you can submit a question. I want to confirm that it can truly meet my need prior to making a purchase of the PRO version.

Can you forward this to the PRO version support team or have them respond to my request? Thank you.

    Best Regards,
    Julio

    Hey @juleskeeper,

Apologies for the link here – there is a free selection in the dropdown that would allow you contact without a license key. For pre-purchase questions however you would use the form found here: https://smashballoon.com/contact/. Due to these forms being for support for the Free version we can not answer any additional questions about the pro version. In short, yes, your specific feature is possible in the Pro version.

We would be happy to dig into this further using our support channels.

    Best regards.
