Can I sync WP Roles with UM Roles?

Since UM doesn’t have form features in the WP Admin > Users. You will need a third-party plugin that adds fields in the Users page.

When you add a new field at the WP Admin, it must match the Register fields with meta keys added to the form.

You can try this third-party plugin to add forms:

I am now using UM with gravity form. There was something amazed me: I made a registration form by UM including the phone number field, but it doesn’t show up in WP role; However, I enter {user_phone_number} in Gravity form, it shows what I have typed in UM.

So, does it mean that I can apply this method to anyone of the fields by adding {user_XXXXX} (the XXXXX means the meta key in UM)? Can it apply from the UM profile file?

Let me elaborate more on the question:

Let’s say if I create a field to Profile Page on UM:
Type: Textarea
Meta Key: eng_personal_bio
Someone types 300 words into the field, and submit.

Afterwards, can I creating a form (e.g. Formidable Form / Gravity Form) that output the information from above (Textarea of Profile Page)? Does it mean to match the field by using meta key {user_eng_personal_bio} ?

Yes, it should work with Gravity/Formidable form plugins and match the meta keys but it requires extra customization work to display the value in the form fields.
